Brnik Airport is situated 23 km northwest of the city and the down-town centre of Ljubljana can easily be reached by public transport.

- REGULAR BUS SERVICE
Journey time is approximately 45 minutes. Tickets are purchased on the bus. The regular bus takes you to the down town terminal from where you can take a taxi to your hotel.

The taxi rank is right in front of the terminal. Taxis are available according to the actual arrivals of flights. A fare from the Airport to Ljubljana City costs approximately 40€ depending on the desired destination of the trip.

Ljubljana may be reached by direct trains from major European cities. The railway station is in the city centre. (see map) (

The bus station is also central and located just outside the railway station.
The train and bus stations are located together in the city centre. Most hotels are within walking distance of the station. see map
