On 29 March 2013, the 1st international academic conference on intelligence and security will be held at the Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security, with the topic: Contemporary Intelligence Support Systems. The conference is intended for professionals from intelligence and security organizations, the police, army, strategic management of corporations, technical research staff members and everyone who deals with intelligence and security in their work. The goal of the conference is to present contemporary intelligence and security challenges and solutions.

We kindly invite everyone who would like to participate in the conference with their papers to submit an abstract of your paper by 24 February 2013 to blaz.ivanc@determinanta.si. The papers will be reviewed and evaluated by the programme committee. Please submit your proposals in English and in accordance with the instructions published in the Varstvoslovje (Journal of Criminal Justice and Security). An author may submit one abstract only. The authors will receive an acceptance notification by 8 March. The accepted papers must then be presented at the conference. The papers will be published in the electronic conference journal.
