Congress fees should be paid into the FCJS UM account before April 2027 (details will be announced later).
PhD Students can apply for a student grant for free accommodation in the University of Maribor's student dormitory during the congress (22nd–26th August 2027). The number of grants is limited to 15, but may be reduced depending on the financial success of the congress. The organisers will appoint a committee to receive grant proposals and decide on them. Students need to prove their student status by a certificate issued by the university for their PhD studies. The certificate must be letterheaded and written in English. Application must consist of a supervisor’s recommendation.
We kindly recommend that congress participants become members of the ISC – SIC to get a reduced registration fee.
For visa purposes, the organisers are not in a position to issue letters of guarantee, but only letters of paper acceptance at the WCC 2027 congress.
WCC Fellowship
WCC 2027 is pleased to announce fellowships for 15 Ph.D. students attending our upcoming congress. This initiative aims to support participants facing financial constraints, enabling them to engage fully in the congress without financial burden. The fellowship will cover the full congress fees and provide shared accommodation for three nights for active congress-only participants. This fellowship is designed to motivate student participants, enhance their academic knowledge, and provide an invaluable opportunity to participate in a vibrant scholarly environment. Every application should include personal details, a PhD programme, a certificate of attendance from the university, a mentor’s/supervisor’s support letter, and a 1-page motivation letter from the candidate. The application should be addressed to the chair of the congress.
