On behalf of our esteemed faculty members and dedicated staff, I extend a warm welcome to all the students, professors, administrative staff, and practitioners who have chosen to embark on an academic journey with us.

At the Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security, University of Maribor, we recognize the importance of fostering a global perspective in the field of criminal justice and security. We understand that through international exchange programs like Erasmus, we have the opportunity to create a diverse and inclusive learning environment that nurtures cross-cultural understanding and collaboration. At our institution, we place great importance on international cooperation with academic institutions and practitioners. This collaboration is essential for conducting successful research and imparting knowledge to students in today's globalized world. As a result, we actively encourage and support the exchange of students, professors, administrative and professional staff on an international scale. We take great pride in hosting and welcoming foreign colleagues to our faculty, as their presence enriches our academic community.

The Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security is committed to providing a comprehensive educational experience that equips students with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their chosen profession. We offer a wide range of courses to address contemporary issues in criminal justice, security, and related fields. Our curriculum is constantly evolving to meet the demands of a rapidly changing world, ensuring that our graduates are prepared to face the complex challenges of the 21st century. The results of our international commitment are self-evident, as we hosted around hundred and fifty Erasmus+ exchange students in the past ten years, many of whom decided to prolong their stay for an additional semester. Every year, we also host visiting scholars and experts from different backgrounds related to security and safety issues. Our professors cooperate closely with colleagues from countries worldwide, resulting in our engagement in international projects and the publication of scientific papers in international journals and books with reputable international publishing houses.

In addition to our academically rigorous programs, we also offer a vibrant and supportive community. As an Erasmus student, you will have the opportunity to engage with fellow students, faculty members, and professionals from various backgrounds.
