At the Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security, University of Maribor, we strongly believe in international cooperation with other academic institutions and practitioners. In the globalised world, this is a prerequisite for successful research and passing knowledge to students. Therefore, we encourage and support the international exchange of students, professors and administrative staff. We are pleased to host foreign colleagues at our faculty. The results of our international commitment are self-evident, as we hosted over 150 Erasmus+ exchange students in the past ten years, many of whom decided to prolong their stay for an additional semester. Every year, we also host visiting professors and experts from different backgrounds related to security and safety issues. Our professors cooperate closely with colleagues from countries across the world, which results in our engagement in international projects and the publication of scientific papers in international journals and books with reputable international publishing houses.
I would recommend the Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security to all students deciding to study abroad for the following reasons:
However, I would sincerely recommend the Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security primarily because our students are not ‘merely a number’ for us. We are very proud of our personal approach and openness which mark our cooperation with every single one of our students.
Welcome to the Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security! I hope you will decide to join us.
